What is ProductBoard?

ProductBoard is a tool through which Sonia users can communicate feature suggestions directly with the Product team.

How does one access ProductBoard?

In the Sonia client, click the File tab. On the right side of the Account page, locate and click the Improve Sonia button.

How do I submit a feature suggestion?

Once you have opened the ProductBoard portal in your browser, follow these steps:

1. Click the blue “+Submit idea” button at the top right
2. Enter your idea, being as specific as possible
3. Indicate the level of importance this enhancement would mean for your program
4. Enter your email address
5. Click submit
6. Watch for an email to verify your email address

Is there a limit to the number of users per institution?

As the ProductBoard portal is available from within Sonia, all Placement Officers have access to submit a suggestion.

Why can I not see my submission?

Suggestions are made publicly visible when the Product team has marked them as “Under Consideration”. It is at this time that users can interact with the request. If the request was made by another user, you can comment on it and indicate the level of importance for your program. This feedback is important to the Product team as they consider when to include it in the development roadmap.

Lumivero recommends keeping track of your submissions so that you do not duplicate your requests.

Can other users see my submission?

Submissions are not visible to other users until they are marked as “Under Consideration”.

What if other users have the same suggestion?

Lumivero recommends each user submit suggestions that are important to their program. Multiple requests for the same enhancement emphasizes to the Product team the importance of the request.

What about the requests in Canny?

The requests in Canny have been imported into ProductBoard.
