How to Log In to Predict! Risk Analyser

Overview

This article covers the steps required to launch and log in to Predict! Risk Analyser (PRA) for the first time or after a new version has been installed.

A one-time certificate prompt will appear during initial setup.

Prerequisites

• PRA must be installed on the device.
• An active session in Predict! Risk Controller (PRC) is required before starting.

Steps

• In PRC, click Start Predict! Risk Analyser.
• A file ending in .predict! downloads to the default Downloads folder.
• Double-click the .predict! file.
• A security certificate prompt appears — click Yes.
• A confirmation message confirms the certificate was applied successfully.
• Double-click the .predict! file again.
• PRA opens and logs in automatically. The PRA home page confirms a successful login.

Note: The certificate prompt appears once only. Subsequent launches log in directly without this step.

Troubleshooting

• If the certificate prompt does not appear, or the certificate fails to apply, see Article: Predict! Risk Analyser Fails to Launch or Shows an Untrusted Certificate Error.
• If a username prompt appears instead of automatic login, see Article: Predict! Risk Analyser — Asked to Enter Username Manually.
• If PRA cannot connect at all, see Article: Predict! Risk Analyser — Timeout or Connection Error on Launch.
