XLSTAT: How to Fix "Your Perpetual License Does Not Give You Access to This Version"

Error

"Your perpetual license does not give you access to this version of XLSTAT"

Perpetual licenses include access only to XLSTAT versions released during your upgrade & support term. Once that term ends, your license key cannot activate newer versions released after that date, even though the license itself remains valid.

Solutions

Option 1: Upgrade to an annual subscription (Recommended)

To access all current and future XLSTAT versions, updates, and bug fixes, switch to an annual subscription license. You will get access to all versions during your subscription period, latest features and security updates, and technical support included.

Please visit our dedicated page here for more information.

Option 2: Download your last compatible version

If you want to continue using your perpetual license, download the last version it supports:

1. Identify the last version you used (for example, v2023.4).
2. Download it using this format:
   • Windows: https://files.xlstat.com/archives/xlstatXXXXX.exe
   • Mac: https://files.xlstat.com/archives/xlstatXXXXX.dmg
   Replace the bolded XXXXX with your version (2023.4 = 20234, 2024.1 = 20241, etc.)
3. Install the version.

Note: Perpetual licenses do not include access to versions released after your maintenance term. You will not receive bug fixes, security updates, or new features.
