When reviewing your Usage Report, you may occasionally see an entry labeled Double Result Credit.

This article explains what this entry means and why it appears.

Double Result Credit

To ensure that interview data is uploaded reliably, the SurveyToGo application does not remove interview data from the device until it receives confirmation from the server that the upload was successful.

In some cases, due to network latency or temporary connectivity issues, the server may successfully receive the interview, but the confirmation message does not reach the device. When this happens, the device assumes the upload was unsuccessful and retransmits the interview.

The SurveyToGo server is designed to detect these duplicate uploads automatically. When it identifies that the same interview has been uploaded more than once, it removes the duplicate credit charge so that only one interview credit is consumed.

The Double Result Credit entry in the Usage Report indicates that an interview was uploaded more than once and that the duplicate upload was detected and reconciled automatically. It does not mean that you were charged twice. Only a single interview credit is deducted, as expected.
