Overview

Viewing the history of an assignment allows you to see when an assignment has been initiated, shared, and delegated to other users for better insight into what is happening with each of your student's assignments. 

How to View the History of an Assignment

Watch the video and/or read the step by step instructions below for details:

1. Go to the Assignments workspace in the Program Management | Supervision environment
2. Click on the status icon of the assignment whose history you want to view
3. Click the View History option

Note: The view history feature is intended to track any status updates on an assignment, so you will often see the following phrases: 

• Changed to In Progress: the user has started an assignment 
• Changed to Waiting on: the assignment was delegated to another user
• Changed to Completed: the final signer or reviewer signed or approved the assignment

If an assignment’s history shows it was changed back to "Waiting on" the original author after being sent to another user, it likely means that the user requested changes before signing or approving.
