Overview

Once you publish, or 'go live' with an FBL (Form Builder Lite) form, you can still go into the form and make changes. Learn how here!

Opening your form to make edits

1. Go to your Program Setup | Customization environment.

2. Select the Custom Forms tab

3. Click the plus icon to the left of the form to open it.

Editing Your Form

You can make changes to virtually anything on your form from changing the name, rearranging the order of fields, or removing fields entirely. Simply click on what you wish to edit, and make your changes.

Changes you can make to an individual field (Short answer, dropdown, signature, etc)

• Copy the field

• Delete it- this will remove the field on all previously completed versions of the form and any new instances moving forward

• Mark/ unmark it required

• Inactivate it- useful for hiding the field from users moving forward, but keeping the field on previous instances of the form that have already been completed

• Add or hide the description

• If dropdown/multiple choice/checkbox field- add, remove, or reorder listed options

Other changes

• Edit any text within the form

• Add additional items

• Change an image

• Re-title/ rename

• Rearrange order of items

To save your changes, be sure to click the Publish button

You can preview your changes before saving them using the preview button.

Use the gear icon  to copy your form, associate it with one or more programs, delete it (only if the form has never been used by your students or staff), or inactivate/activate the form.
