How to Submit a Feature Enhancement Request for Sonia

ProductBoard

ProductBoard is a tool through which Sonia users can make feature suggestions directly with the Sonia Product team.

• The requests in Canny have been imported into ProductBoard.
• All Placement Officers have access to submit a suggestion.
• Submissions are not visible to other users until they are marked as “Under Consideration”.

How to Post to ProductBoard

1. In the Sonia client, click the File tab.
2. On the right side of the Account page, locate and click the ProductBoard button.
3. Once you have opened the ProductBoard portal in your browser:
   • Click the blue “+Submit idea” button at the top right
   • Enter your idea, being as specific as possible
   • Indicate the level of importance this enhancement would mean for your program
   • Enter your email address and click Submit
   • Watch for an email to verify your email address

NOTE: Once the Product team has marked them as “Under Consideration”:

• Users can interact with the request.
• If the request was made by another user, you can comment on it and indicate the level of importance for your program.

Importance of ProductBoard

This feedback is important to the Product team as they consider when to include it in the development roadmap.  Lumivero recommends:

• keeping track of your submissions so that you do not duplicate your requests.
• Submitting suggestions that are important to your program.
  • Multiple requests for the same enhancement emphasizes to the Product team the importance of the request.
