Program Contact FAQs

We recommend setting the Practicum Coordinator for each program as the Program Contact. This will allow your Site Supervisors / Field Instructors to see who they should contact at the university regarding their supervisees.

 

Why should you set a primary contact person?

If you set a primary contact for your program, field instructors and supervisors will see the primary contact for each student they supervise. If there is a reason why the Site Supervisor needs to contact the program, this feature helps them do this quickly and easily.

How to set a primary contact person for a program:

 

Option 1: In Your Staff & Students Tab

1. Go to the Program Management | Staff & Students environment.
2. Select the Staff & Students Tab on the left.
3. Filter / Search for the user you want to make the Program Contact and expand their profile.
4. Select the Programs tab.
5. Check the box for “Primary Contact” under each program they should be the contact person for.                                                                                                

 

Option 2: In Your Program Tab

1. Go to the Admin environment.
2. Go to the Programs tab.
3. Expand the Program you want.
4. Select the Associated Staff & Students tab.
5. Expand the person you want to make the Program Contact.
6. Check the box for “Primary Contact”.                                                                                                                                  

NOTE: There may only be one primary contact person for each program.
