Overview 

Once invited to join Experiential Learning Cloud, there are a few steps to take before starting.

How to Register

Registration depends on your role (student, faculty, site supervisor, etc.) and your program’s payment setup.

To begin, click the link in your registration invitation.

• If you did not receive an invitation, go to your school’s Experiential Learning Cloud login page (http://schoolname.lumivero-elc.app/#/logon) and click the Register button
  • This will be located on the lower-left of the page or under the Login button.

 

If you are accessing Experiential Learning Cloud via an LMS like Blackboard, Moodle, Canvas, etc, you will click a link for Experiential Learning Cloud in your LMS course instead of receiving an email.

You can skip to step 3.

1. In registration initiation email, click the link to register.
    

2. Create a password in the next window
   
   

    

   • If you are registering for Experiential Learning Cloud via an LMS, you will not be prompted to create a password. See Creating a Password for details on how to do this.

3. Passwords must contain:

   • At least 8 characters

   • At least 1 alphabetical character

   • At least 1 non-alphanumeric (special) character

   • At least 1 uppercase letter

   • At least 1 lowercase letter

4. After clicking Setup Account, you will see the screen below for setting your location:
    
   
5. Once you click Submit, you will be prompted to read and accept our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions of use.
   • Read the information carefully, scroll to the bottom, click the checkbox and then I Accept.
      
     
6. After accepting the terms and conditions, you will then be asked to enter your payment information if you school is using credit card or bookstore codes.

   • You can skip this step if your school is not using these payment options OR if you are not a student.

     
     
   • If you have a code:
     • Enter your code and click the red OK button to confirm payment.
        
       
   • If you are purchasing with a card:
     • Enter your zip code.
       If your zip code is for multiple towns you will see them listed like in the image below. You will need to choose the correct town that matches your zip code. When you do, you will be able to enter your card information. 
       • City and State fill in automatically
         
          
     • Enter your credit card information.
       • When done, you should be able to click “Pay Now” at the bottom of the screen.
          

At this point, you're registered and ready to start using Experiential Learning Cloud.

Go to the Tutorials workspace to get a general overview of the features within the platform.

 

Troubleshooting: "Invalid" Activation Codes

Activation codes are single-use and unique to your university’s specific ELC database. If you encounter an error when entering your code, please follow these steps:

• Verify the URL: Ensure you are on your specific university’s ELC login page. Codes will not work on the login pages of other institutions.

• Check for Typos: Enter the code exactly as provided, paying close attention to similar-looking characters (e.g., the letter O vs. the number 0).

• Redemption Errors: If the system confirms the code is "invalid," it may have been previously redeemed.

• Need a new code? If your code remains unusable, contact your University Bookstore (or whoever issued your original code) to request a replacement.

Note: Never share your activation code. Each code is designed to activate only one account, one time.
