Overview

“Browse Sites” is a feature that can be enabled or disabled at the program level. 

• This feature allows programs to determine whether or not students can browse sites prior to completing their pre-application tasks in their site placement process.
• If "Browse Sites" is disabled, but your placement process allows students to select their own site from the site list or create a preference list, they will be able to view approved sites in your program's site list after completing their pre-application tasks.
• If "Browse Sites" is disabled and your program assigns sites to your students, the students will never be able to see the complete list of approved sites for your program. 

Enable or Disable “Browse Sites” Feature for Students

1. Go to the Program Setup|Admin environment

2. Select Program on the left-hand side of the page

3. Navigate to your program, expand it by clicking the , and go to Program Settings

    

   

4. “Enable browse sites for students” can be enabled by clicking the checkbox. The feature can be disabled by de-selecting the checked box.

5. If enabled at the program level, the setting will override the database-level setting.
