Overview 

When completing a video assessment in the “assignments” environment, you may need to add a comment on a video, either as an assignment or for your own reference. This article will walk through how to comment on your own videos prior to submission, regardless if the comments are required or optional.

 

How to Comment on Your Own Video 

 

1. In Assignments, open the video assignment, then click Start.

2. Once in the assignment, you will click on the Browse button, or drag your file into the box. Select the file you wish to upload and then click Open. Your video will now begin uploading. You can review more information on this step in the article How To: Upload and Submit a Video.

3. Once your video is uploaded you can then add a comment prior to submitting the video.

4. To add a comment:

   1. click Add a comment

   2. type your comment into the text box

   3. click Post comment

5. Repeat step 4 to add additional comments throughout the video.

6. Once you are done adding comments to your video, be sure to click Submit when you are ready to submit the video assignment for review. If your assignment has reviewers on the video it will need to be reviewed by them before it will be marked complete.

 

 

Commenting on your own videos is optional unless the assignment explicitly requires you to do so.
