Experiential Learning Cloud: Editing Your Track's Start and End Dates

Change your track’s start date in User Settings or Timesheets to record time from the correct date; set an end date to inactivate if needed.

Overview

In order to record your practicum/internship hours and activities and track your progress toward graduation and licensure, you will need to edit or change your track's start date to when you started recording or tracking your activities.

IMPORTANT: You cannot add time entries on a date that occurs before the start date of your track, so be sure to choose a start date that occurs before the date you first began providing services for your field experience, internship or practicum.

Changing a Track's Dates

In your User Settings:

Open your User Settings by selecting you User Profile icon in the upper right corner of your Experiential Learning Cloud page. The User Profile icon is the circle icon with either your initials or profile picture.
Your User Settings will then pop up. Select the My Profile tab.
Scroll down to the Manage Tracks section.
Select the My Tracks heading. All of the tracks you have added will appear in this section.
Click on the date highlighted next to the track you need to change. A calendar will then appear, as well as two boxes for you to input a start and end date.
1. You can select the new start date by clicking on the date on the calendar.
2. Or you can select the new start date by selecting the first dialogue box and typing in the desired new date.
When you have the new date selected or entered, click the OK button to the right. You will now be able to add time to your track on any date after the new start date!

In Your Timesheets Workspace:

Open your Timesheets workspace and select the More Actions button.
Then select Manage Tracks.
A box will then appear showing your tracks.
Click on the date highlighted next to the track you need to change.
A calendar will then appear, as well as two boxes for you to input a start and end date.

When you have the new date selected or entered, click the OK button to the right. You will now be able to add time to your track on any date after the new start date!

NOTE: You can also enter an inactive date for your track in the same way, but it is not required. If you do enter an end date, your track will inactivate on that date. Once a track is inactivated it will move to your "Previous Tracks" and you will no longer be able to add time to that track. You can always change a track's end date, as well.
