#VALUE When Simulation Not Running

• During a simulation: @RISK distribution functions return a single Double value.

• Outside a simulation: @RISK distribution functions return an array, with the first element being the random number drawn.

• This differs from version 4.x and supports features like RiskTheo statistics functions.

Implications for Custom Functions

• Declare the function argument as a Variant, not Double.

• Test the argument type at runtime to handle both cases.
