If any other Experiential Learning Cloud user has forgotten their password, program administrators can help them regain access to their account by creating a new, temporary password and sharing it with them! 

How to Create a Temporary Password 

1. Log into your own Experiential Learning Cloud account
2. Navigate to the Program Management | Staff & Students environment
3. Find the user whose password has been forgotten in the Staff & Students table
4. Click Password: (Change) 
5. A modal will appear. Enter your own password into the first field. 
6. Click Generate Password. This will randomly generate a password for the user. 
7. A modal will pop up showing the temporary password. Copy the password from this modal. 
8. Click Done
9. Click Change Password to save the randomly generated password in Experiential Learning Cloud. 
10. The Require password change checkbox should be checked automatically. This will ensure that the student is prompted to generate a new password after using their temporary password to regain access to their account. 
11. Paste the updated password into an email and send it to the user.
