Approximate Correlation of RiskMakeInput or RiskCompound

 

To correlate a RiskMakeInput or RiskCompound, convert it to a RiskCumul:

1. Simulate the RiskMakeInput/RiskCompound to get its percentiles (e.g., every 0.5%).

2. Paste-as-values those percentiles, then build a RiskCumul from the min, max, and percentile list.

3. Replace the original RiskMakeInput/RiskCompound with this RiskCumul and apply correlations normally.

 

NOTE: This works only if the underlying parameters don’t change; otherwise it requires automating via an @RISK XDK pre-simulation macro.
