Applies to: All products, versions 5.x–7.x uninstallers

Error: 

"Another version of this product is already installed. Installation of this version cannot continue. To configure or remove the existing version of this product, use Add/Remove Programs on the Control Panel."

 

Cause:

Corruption can occur to the installation program list for various reasons, including problems in the registry.

 

Solution:

We recommend first that you repair the installation of the @RISK/DTS software using the @RISK/DTS Repair tool.

 

If this doesn't help, Microsoft offers a tool to repair this type of problem.
