Tips for Going Live with Sonia

General

• Use your Test environment to test new features and processes
• Have all testing done AT LEAST one week prior to going live with a process. The more time you give yourself, the more confident you will feel.
• Contact Sonia Support with ANY questions at community.lumivero.com
• We can help you think through and set up your process
• We can help you troubleshoot issues you might run into

Sonia Online

• Ensure your Sonia Online users have a username and are “Approved”.
• If using university authentication (SSO), have a student test logging in to Sonia Online with their university credentials.
• Test any Online task before asking real users to do it.
  • Is the necessary data visible (e.g., placement groups, key events, forms)?

Communication

• Review your communication template
  • Does the Subject line (template name) make sense if you were to see that in your Inbox?
  • Does the message make sense if you have never seen Sonia?
  • Do the placeholders display as you expect them to?
    • Send your communication to someone who is not privy to what you are trying to convey/request.
    • Can they follow your instructions?
    • If a link or form is included, can they open it?

Forms

• Go beyond the Preview!
  • Preview is great for seeing how things display, but the true test is in actually testing the form as all roles in the order of the form workflow.
    • Does everyone have the appropriate permissions?
    • Did you attach it correctly?
    • Are the defined default values pulling in?
    • Did you set up the calculations correctly?
