Retrieving the order of random questions' execution

SurveyToGo has the ability to indicate that you want to run a set of questions that are part of a chapter in a random order through a simple script setting. See the screenshot below:

In some surveys, you may need to know the final random order in which questions were displayed.

This information can be useful for a variety of purposes, such as:

• Applying the same question order later in the survey (for example, in a subsequent loop iteration).

• Performing additional survey logic based on the randomized order.

• Exporting or processing the data using the actual display order.

SurveyToGo provides the GetQuestionsRandomOrder() function, which returns the random order that was used for the questions.

To see an implementation example, import the attached sample survey into SurveyToGo Studio.
