How to use Dynamic Link as Login Screen(work with a Panel Company)

Overview

The following sample should be used when the Panel Company will request only 1 link which they will use, and the unique IDs will be generated on their side, passed with the link, and will be sent to the respondent.

Create the Dynamic link:

• Name - Enter a name for these links.
• 'Unique Identifier Param Name' - use the default or set this identifier name according to the panel company need (can later be used in the end pages, read further to learn more).

Once you click on "Add," a link will be generated.

• Copy the link and send it to the Panel Company:

Detailed Steps:

1) The attached Excel file should be sent to the Panel Company.

• The Panel Company should fill the Excel with the needed Usernames and Passwords for each "uid"

Important: If you specified a custom Unique Identifier Param Name when creating the survey link, the same name must be used as the header for Column D in the Excel file.

For example, if the Unique Identifier Param Name is VOD, then Column D in the Excel file must also be named VOD.

2. After the panel company has completed the Excel file, upload it to the survey.

3. The respondent must enter their Username and Password in the first question of the survey, using the credentials associated with the unique link provided by the panel company.

a) Link - https://www.dooblocawi.com/client/Survey.aspx?Ticket=<SurveyTicket>&uid=a

• Username "AAA" and Password "aaa123".

b) Link - https://www.dooblocawi.com/client/Survey.aspx?Ticket=<SurveyTicket>&uid=b

• Username "BBB" and Password "bbb123".

Important Note: These are not real links. They are for training purposes only.

Important Notes

When reviewing the sample survey, pay particular attention to the following:

• The functions implemented in the Advanced Script.

• The check_Login() function, which validates that the username entered by the respondent matches the password associated with that username based on the configured Unique Identifier Param Name.

• The check_Login() function is called from the Validation Rule of the first question in the survey (Q_Login) to validate the respondent's credentials before allowing them to continue.
