How to Create Multiple Users In a Bulk Action

Overview

In addition to creating individual users, you can also add multiple users to an organization at once by importing a predefined Excel file. The file contains the user details, such as usernames and passwords, allowing you to quickly create multiple accounts in a single operation.

Step 1: Export the sample users Excel file

1. Open the 'Studio Users & Groups' node.
2. You can export the sample users file using either of the methods below:
   1. Right-click on the Users node and choose 'Import users List':

   2. Open the Users Management window and select 'Import Users':

3. Click on the 'Open Example...' link which will generate the file.

4. Name the file and save it:

Step 2: Enter the User Credentials in the Excel File

Open the Excel file you downloaded. This file is used to enter the credentials for the new users before importing them into the organization.

The first row contains the column headers. The second row contains a sample user for reference. Before importing the file, delete the sample user; otherwise, it will also be created as a new user.

Add one user per row.

You do not need to complete every column. Only the following columns are required:

• UserName

• Password

• isSurveyor

After entering the user information, save the Excel file.

Step 3: Load the finalized Excel file and add the users

1. Go back to the import window, click on 'Browse' and open the finalized file:

2. Click on Load File
3. Click on Add users:

When the process is complete, you can click OK to close the window.
