How To Get the Survey ID of a survey

Overview

Every survey in SurveyToGo has both a Survey Name and a Survey ID.

When contacting SurveyToGo Support about a specific survey, always provide the Survey ID. The Survey ID is a unique identifier that allows our team to locate the correct survey quickly and accurately.

Survey names are not unique and may contain special characters. As a result, multiple surveys can have the same name, making it difficult to identify the correct one. Providing the Survey ID eliminates this ambiguity and helps us assist you more efficiently.

There are two ways to retrieve the Survey ID:

Option 1: Copy the Survey ID from the Survey Tree

Right-click the survey in the Survey Tree and select Copy ID. The Survey ID is copied to your clipboard and can be pasted into your support request.
Paste the ID from the clipboard (into email, reply window in the support portal etc)

Option 2: View the Survey Information in the Survey Designer

You can also retrieve the Survey ID from the Survey Info section in the Survey Designer.

Open the survey
Navigate to the ‘Survey Info’ tab
