Sonia: Changing Supervisors (red shirts)

Introduction

Sometimes a Supervisor (red shirt) is assigned to a placement and then the responsibility is changed to someone else. The former supervisor still shows on the placement request. The reason is that you may wish to assign this supervisor to a different placement on the same placement request. The person is essentially “waiting” to be re-assigned.

How to remove the Supervisor from the placement request

If the supervisor needs to be completely removed from the placement request, follow these steps:

1. Open the placement group
2. Navigate to the placement request page
3. Double-click on the placement request
4. Once the placement request window opens, click the Supervisor button on the ribbon
5. Click the name of the person to be removed
6. Click the red minus button at the right
7. Save
8. Close the window
