Using Visibility Settings to Show/Hide Views in the View Strip

Overview

The hide/show view option in the view strip allows Story Owners and Creators to control which views are visible.

This helps simplify navigation without deleting any views from the story.

Owners/Creators can create multiple views for analysis, but hide less relevant ones before sharing the story.

• This keeps the interface clean and focused for other users.

Simplifying Navigation

Hidden views can be replaced with guided navigation, such as portal views with annotations and click-events.

• This helps users access key views more intuitively.

Understanding Visibility Behavior

Hidden views are not visible in the view strip for Collaborate/Read-only users.

• Owners/Creators can re-enable hidden views at any time.
• Hidden views can still be accessed via direct links or annotation click-events.

Editing View Visibility

1. Open the view strip on the left side of the story.

2. Click the grey Eye icon at the top.

3. Toggle the eye icon next to a view to show or hide it.

4. A crossed-out eye indicates the view is hidden.

5. Click the Eye icon again to apply changes—hidden views will no longer appear in the view strip.

Notes

• By default, all views are visible.

• Hiding views does not delete them.

• Hidden views may still be accessed through links or navigation elements.
