Creating and Deleting a SharpCloud Team

Overview

A SharpCloud Team allows users to collaborate, share, and manage stories within a controlled group. Creating a team requires an Editor License (unless restricted by a Pack Administrator). Users with this license are identified by a blue border around their profile icon.

Creating a Team

To create a team:

1. From the Dashboard, go to the Teams and Directories tab
2. Select Create New Team
3. Complete the required fields in the dialog

Team fields include:

• Select a Pack: Determines where the team is created for administrative purposes only
• Team Identifier: A unique lowercase string (minimum 4 characters) used in the team URL
• Team Name and Description: Displayed on the dashboard
• Select Administrators: The creator is included by default; additional admins can be added (recommended minimum of two)

4. Select Create Team

Once created, the team will appear in the Teams and Directories tab, and selected admins will receive an email notification.

By default, teams include settings that control sharing:

• Members cannot share stories outside the team
• Members cannot make stories public

These settings can be adjusted by Team Admins at a global or story level.
