Project Framing and Analysis Pipeline

A guided project setup captures your topic, research questions, method, team, and literature.

AURA, the AI-powered Unified Research Assistant, reads and summarizes each source, helps structure the corpus into cases and variables, and proposes topics for you to confirm.

Tailors AURA's suggestions to your research from the first step and gives you a researcher-driven, evidence-backed starting code frame.

Source Import, Find Literature, and Transcription

Import documents, audio, and video recordings, which are transcribed for coding. AURA can also find published papers matched to your research questions and add them to your Research Library.

Brings documents, media, and supporting literature together in one organized corpus.

Coding, Codebook, and Concepts

Code passages in documents and transcripts into a hierarchical codebook of up to four levels, with AI-suggested codes for coding-on, merging, and AI code summaries. Codes can be grouped into higher-order concepts.

Turns documents and recordings into analyzable, traceable evidence and supports theory building from a clear codebook.

AURA Chat

Ask questions about your coded corpus and receive cited answers that link back to the source; any change AURA proposes waits for your approval. Built-in prompts such as Play devil's advocate and Find outliers start common analyses instantly.

Delivers cited, verifiable answers from your own data and puts rigorous analytic strategies one prompt away, with nothing changed without your approval.

Dashboard, Map, Analytics, and Excerpts Views

A Project Dashboard summarizes your coding at a glance, alongside Map, Analytics, and Excerpts views for exploring code co-occurrence, matrices, and filtered excerpts.

Lets you explore patterns, co-occurrences, and participant attributes from multiple angles in one workspace.

Memos

Rich-text memos link to the sources and codes they draw on, cite excerpts inline, and export to Word with numbered footnotes.

Keeps the reasoning behind your analysis linked to the evidence it rests on.

Project Sharing and Collaboration

Project owners can invite collaborators by email, manage access and invitations, and transfer ownership when required. Each collaborator uses their own license.

Enables teams to contribute to the same project with clear roles and owner-controlled access.

Usage and Audit Trail

Track AURA credits, Find Literature credits, and Transcription hours against your plan. A full audit trail records every action and can be exported as needed.

Gives you full visibility of AI consumption and audit logs.
