Understand how interface language is determined

You can change the language that is used in the interface—for example, menus and dialogs. Variable product name for update 1 is available in:

• French
• German
• Japanese
• Spanish (Mexico)

You need to add the language to your preferred languages list in macOS System Preferences.

The order of the preferred languages determines the language of the NVivo interface. If the first language in the list is not supported, then NVivo will try to use the next language. If none of the languages in the list is supported by NVivo, then the interface will display in English.

You need to relaunch NVivo after you make changes to the preferred language list.

For specific information on how to add or change the order of languages in your System Preferences, refer to the macOS Help for your system.
