NVivo: Can offsite/remote users use NVivo Collaboration Server through VPN?

Answer

NVivo Collaboration Server is designed to work with the NVivo client software via a low-latency 100 Mbps (or faster) network.

If you want users to access server projects via an Internet connection, you could use 'thin client', VDI (Virtual Desktop Interface) technologies or any other remote access method such as:

Microsoft Remote Desktop Services
Citrix XenApp
Quest vWorkspace

In this configuration, the NVivo Client software and NVivo Collaboration Server will be hosted in the same local 100Mbps (or faster) low latency network and the end user will remotely access NVivo through the use of remote access methods.
